One day I was trying to come up with a yummy butter to slather onto a fresh, hot piece of sweet corn...I mixed the first few thing that came to my mind and this was the end result...I hope you'll give it a try sometime! :) My photos and recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 - ears of fresh sweet corn - grilled or boiled
  • 1/4 cup butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 teaspoon fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 small clove finely, minced garlic - optional - i didn't use today
  • sea - salt to taste
  • sprig - fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt or to taste
  • fresh - grated, parmesan cheese, salt, parsley for garnish

How To Make fresh sweet corn - w/ cassies specialty butter

  • Step 1
    In a small bowl, mix the chili powder well with the lime juice. Now, add the butter, parsley, salt and garlic salt, minced garlic if using. Stir until thoroughly blended.
  • Step 2
    Slather onto your fresh grilled or boiled sweet corn. ( If boiling, make sure it's drained well.) Sprinkle with more salt, pepper if desired, Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley. Yummy!
