Ingredients

  • 3 large
    eggs
  • 2 Tbsp
    light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp
    grated orange peel
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 3 can(s)
    yams or 6 fresh mashed
  • 2/3 c
    half and half
  • 2/3 c
    chopped pecans
  • 6 Tbsp
    margarine
  • 1 pkg
    miniture marshmallows
  • 1 pkg
    whole pecans
  • 1 jar(s)
    marachino cherries

How to Make Festive Yam Souffle

Step-by-Step

  1. Beat eggs, sugar,,orange peel and seasonings together in large mixing bowl until light and fluffy
  2. Stir in Yams, cream, chopped pecans, and butter. Turn mixture into a greased 2 quart baking dish. Bake for 50 minutes.
  3. Garnish top by alternating marshmallows, pecan halves, and cherries around top of casserole.
