Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons grated orange peel
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3 cans yams or 6 fresh mashed
  • 2/3 cup half and half
  • 2/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 6 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 package miniture marshmallows
  • 1 package whole pecans
  • 1 jar marachino cherries

How To Make festive yam souffle

  • Step 1
    Beat eggs, sugar,,orange peel and seasonings together in large mixing bowl until light and fluffy
  • Step 2
    Stir in Yams, cream, chopped pecans, and butter. Turn mixture into a greased 2 quart baking dish. Bake for 50 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Garnish top by alternating marshmallows, pecan halves, and cherries around top of casserole.
