Ingredients
- 3 cups oil for frying
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or less to taste)
- 1-3 teaspoon sugar (based on how sweet you like your fritters)
- 1 - egg, beaten lightly
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 2 milliliters ears of corn, kernels cut off or a 12 ounce can/bag of frozen corn
- - honey for drizzling on finished fritters, optional
How To Make corn fritters

Step 1In a deep frying pan, heat a couple Inches of oil to 365.

Step 2In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients until just mixed.

Step 3Drop batter by teaspoon-tablespoonfuls into hot oil. Allow to fry until golden on one side then turn to cook other side. Roughly 2 minutes on each side. Tip: a chopstick makes a great tool for turning the fritters.

Step 4Drain on paper towels and drizzle with a little honey. Serve warm.
