Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

2 Tbsp
coconut oil
1 medium
head cauliflower
1/2
white onion
1-2 clove
garlic, peeled
1/4 c
water or broth
salt, to taste
white pepper, to taste
chopped parsley or other favorite fresh herb
other seasoning, your choice such as italian seasoning, etc. (optional)

How to Make Cauliflower "Rice"

Step-by-Step

  • 1Grate the cauliflower, onion and garlic *or* PULSE in a food processor until the cauliflower resembles rice grains.
  • 2Heat coconut oil in a sauté pan over medium high heat. Sauté onion and garlic for about 3 minutes. Add cauliflower, stir well.
  • 3Add the water or vegetable broth, sea salt and pepper. Sautè for about 5 minutes until cauliflower is slightly tender.
  • 4Place cauliflower in serving bowl and top with chopped parsley (optional). Serve hot.
