Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds carrots, peeled and sliced ~ i left mine whole, but par cooked for a few minutes in the microwave in a little water
- 1/4 cup each - brown sugar & white sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
- pepper - optional
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/3 cup boiling water
How To Make ~ carrots in cinnamon sauce ~

Step 1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish, add the carrots. Set aside.. Mix butter, cinnamon, salt, and sugars. Pour boiling water over mixture and stir. Pour over the carrots and bake for 45 min - 1 hour, or until tender. Or you could microwave until tender. Stir, before serving.
