Ingredients For carmelized sauteed mushrooms

  • 2 c
    fresh mushrooms chopped
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 3 Tbsp
    maderia wine
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • salt

How To Make carmelized sauteed mushrooms

  • 1
    place water, mushrooms, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce in sauce pan.
  • 2
    Cook until most of water has evaporated. Pour in wine and deglaze the pan. Let wine evaporate. Keep stirring and cooking until mushrooms are golden brown.

    Stir in butter and season with salt.
