celery, chopped fine

garlic, minced

head cabbage, chopped

rotel tomatoes
1 can(s)
black eyed peas
1 c
water
1 c
uncooked rice
salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Cabbage Jambalaya

Step-by-Step

  • 1In large pot, combine ground beef, smoked sausage, onion, celery, and garlic. Cook until beef is evenly browned.
  • 2Stir in cabbage, tomatoes, peas, water, and rice. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. cover and cook for 35 to 40 minutes or until rice is done.
