    shredded red cabbage
  • 2 c
    chopped unpeeled apples
  • 2 Tbsp
    bacon fat
  • 1/4 c
  • 1/4 c
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    caraway seed
  • 1 dash(es)

How to Make Bev's Red Cabbage


  1. Melt bacon fat in skillet. Add cabbage, apples and all other ingredients. Cover and cook till tender, about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
