bacon and brown sugar topped sweet potato bake
This savory sweet potato casserole is so good! Everything is better with bacon!!
Blue Ribbon Recipe
This is not your typical sweet potato casserole that you have during the holidays, it's more savory than sweet. The potatoes are whipped and creamy with just enough spices to keep it from being bland. I really love the hint of garlic, it's a nice surprise. The topping really makes this dish special. The brown sugar crystalizes on the bacon while baking and gives the topping a nice crunch.
