  • 3 pounds baby carrots
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon grainy dijon mustard

How To Make baby carrots with brown sugar and mustard

  • Step 1
    Blanch, steam, or microwave carrots until tender-crisp.
  • Step 2
    Drain well.
  • Step 3
    Melt butter in medium skillet over medium heat.
  • Step 4
    Stir in brown sugar and mustard to make a smooth sauce.
  • Step 5
    Add carrots and toss to coat. Cook 1 minute longer.
