- 2 pounds asparagus
- 1/3 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons mayonaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup diced ripe tomatoes (about 2 medium)
- - salt and fresh ground pepper
How To Make asparagus with fresh tomato yogurt sauce

Step 1Cut asparagus into 2-3 pieces, cook in boiling water until just tender and still bright green

Step 2Drain and rinse with cold water and pat dry with paper towels

Step 3While the asparagus is cooking combine the yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice, tomatoes and salt and pepper

Step 4Place the asparagus on a plate and spoon sauce across the middle.

Step 5Serve at room temperature
