Ingredients

1 lb
sugar snap peas, trimmed
3 Tbsp
olive oil
2 tsp
minced garlic
1/4 c
low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 tsp
sesame oil
2 dash(es)
(or drops) chili oil
1/4 tsp
brown sugar, packed
2 Tbsp
toasted sesame seeds

How to Make Asian Sugar Snap Peas

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven broiler, and move rack to top position.
  • 2Place the snap peas in a baking dish, and drizzle olive oil and garlic on top, and toss to coat. Spread the snap peas in a single layer. Broil the snap peas about 5 minutes.
  • 3Meanwhile, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, chili oil, brown sugar, and sesame seeds in a large bowl. When snap peas are removed from the oven, toss them immediately with the sauce.
