Ingredients
- 1 pound sugar snap peas, trimmed
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 dashes (or drops) chili oil
- 1/4 teaspoon brown sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
How To Make asian sugar snap peas

Step 1Preheat oven broiler, and move rack to top position.

Step 2Place the snap peas in a baking dish, and drizzle olive oil and garlic on top, and toss to coat. Spread the snap peas in a single layer. Broil the snap peas about 5 minutes.

Step 3Meanwhile, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, chili oil, brown sugar, and sesame seeds in a large bowl. When snap peas are removed from the oven, toss them immediately with the sauce.
