chopped onion
3/4 c
chopped green pepper
1 clove
1/4 c
olive oil
1 can(s)
( 14 oz ) tomato paste
1/2 c
burgundy wine or grape juice
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
1 dash(es)
tabasco sauce
1 c
diced cooked meat (beef, pork, venison, chicken, or combination
2 can(s)
(15.5 oz. ea.) kidney beans, drained
seasoning to taste

How to Make Kidney Bean Deluxe


  • 1Cook onion, green pepper and garlic in olive oil until onions are soft.

    Remove garlic.
  • 2Pour tomato paste, wine, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce into onion mixture and stir to blend.

    Add meat and drained kidney beans.
  • 3Add seasoning. Stir to blend

    In an 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish, bake at 375F for 30 to 40 minutes.

    Freezes well.
