This is a good way to doctor up a box of scalloped potatoes to make it your own. Add the green beans and you have a complete side dish that is yummy for your tummy!

  • 1 box
    scalloped potato mix
  • 1 1/2 c
    boiling water
  • 1 c
    half & half
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 or 2 can(s)
    frozen cut green beans
  • 1/8 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp

How to Make Green Bean & Scalloped Potato Casserole


  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees
  2. In a large mixing bowl, stir sauce mix (from the scalloped potatoes mix), half & half, butter, red pepper and paprika. Stir in the potatoes and green beans.
  3. Transfer to a casserole dish and bake uncovered for about 30 to 40 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
