How To Make maple sausage dressing w/craisins & water chestnut
-
Step 1Saute green onion, celery, & carrots in butter, until crisp tender. Add sausage to taste, I use about 1/2 cup.
-
Step 2In large bowl combine all ingredients until moistened. (Sometimes I add a little more chicken broth.)
-
Step 3Place in greased casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
-
Step 4The water chestnuts give the dressing a pleasant crunch factor. Craisins give it a nice zip, and a wonderful holiday color. Sausage is optional but it does give a nice contrast between the Craisins and water chestnuts.
