Ingredients
- 3 cups mashed, cooked sweet potatoes or 1 large can (29 ounces) and 1 small can (16 ounces) sweet potatoes, drained and mashed
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 - eggs. well beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/3 cup milk or heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- TOPPING
- 2 cups rice krispies
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
How To Make different sweet potato casserole

Step 1In a large bowl, combine sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs, milk or cream, butter, cinnamon and nutmeg; mix thoroughly.

Step 2Place in a greased 9 X 13 inch casserole dish or a 2 1/2 quart greased casserole dish.

Step 3TOPPING: In another bowl, combine Rice Krispies, nuts, butter and brown sugar, stirring until crumbly. Sprinkle over sweet potato mixture.

Step 4Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
