  • 3 c
    mashed, cooked sweet potatoes or 1 large can (29 ounces) and 1 small can (16 ounces) sweet potatoes, drained and mashed
  • 1 c
  • 1/2 c
    melted butter
  • 2
    eggs. well beaten
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/3 c
    milk or heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp

  • 2 c
    rice krispies
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    butter, melted

How to Make Different Sweet Potato Casserole


  1. In a large bowl, combine sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs, milk or cream, butter, cinnamon and nutmeg; mix thoroughly.
  2. Place in a greased 9 X 13 inch casserole dish or a 2 1/2 quart greased casserole dish.
  3. TOPPING: In another bowl, combine Rice Krispies, nuts, butter and brown sugar, stirring until crumbly.
    Sprinkle over sweet potato mixture.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
