Ingredients

2 1/2 c
coarsely crushed corn flakes
1/2 c
melted butter or margarine
4 1/2 c
shredded cabbage
1/3 c
chopped onion
1/4 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
pepper
1 can(s)
condensed cream of celery soup
1 c
milk
1/2 c
mayonnaise
2 c
shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make Cheesey Cabbage Casserole

Step-by-Step

  • 1Toss cornflakes with butter. Sprinkle one half into a greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Layer with cabbage, onion, salt and pepper.
  • 2Preheat oven to 350.
  • 3In a bowl, combine soup, milk, and mayo till smooth. Spoon over the cabbage mixture. Cover and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
  • 4Remove cover and top with cheese and remaining corn flakes. Bake an additional 15 to 20 minutes or till golden brown.
