  • 2 1/2 c
    coarsely crushed corn flakes
  • 1/2 c
    melted butter or margarine
  • 4 1/2 c
    shredded cabbage
  • 1/3 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1 can(s)
    condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1 c
  • 1/2 c
  • 2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make Cheesey Cabbage Casserole


  1. Toss cornflakes with butter. Sprinkle one half into a greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Layer with cabbage, onion, salt and pepper.
  2. Preheat oven to 350.
  3. In a bowl, combine soup, milk, and mayo till smooth. Spoon over the cabbage mixture. Cover and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
  4. Remove cover and top with cheese and remaining corn flakes. Bake an additional 15 to 20 minutes or till golden brown.
