Ingredients
- 2 cups sweet tea
- 1 cup uncooked long grain rice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 - large jalapeno, peeled and diced
- 1 - large fresh peach, peeled and diced
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
How To Make sweet tea rice with jalapeno. peaches, and pecans

Step 1Bring tea to a boil, stir in rice and 1/2 tsp salt. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer 20 minutes, until tea is absorbed.

Step 2Meanwhile, melt butter over medium heat, add pecans, and cook, stirring constantly, until toasted, 3-4 minutes. Add jalapeno and saute 1 minute.

Step 3Stir in hot cooked rice, peaches, chives, salt, and pepper.
