sesame forbidden rice

I love this! I had to hunt to find it again so I'm posting my version here for safekeeping.

Ingredients
- 3 cups water
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 1/2 cups forbidden (black) rice
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
How To Make sesame forbidden rice

Step 1Bring water & salt to a boil. Add rice & stir.

Step 2Cover pan & cook on low for about 30 minutes until water is almost completely absorbed.

Step 3Let sit off heat about 10 minutes. Drizzle with sesame oil & stir to combine.

Step 4Season with additional salt if necessary & garnish with sesame seeds.
