A change from plain rice.
My grandmother always made this dish on holidays.

How to Make Rice Kugel
- Cook rice for 20 minutes. Strain.
Beat in eggs.
Add sugar, vanilla, milk and raisins.
- Grease 9 X 13 inch baking dish with 4 tbsp. butter.
Pour mixture into baking dish.
Dot mixture with 4 tbsp. butter.
Slice apple thinly and place on top of mixture (optional)
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
