Ingredients

  • 2 pkg
    okra (sliced)
  • 1 stalk(s)
    curry leaves
  • 1
    red chili (remove seeds and sliced)
  • 1
    red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 3 clove
    garlic (thinly sliced)
  • 4 Tbsp
    oil
  • 1/2 tsp
    turmeric powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    curry powder

How to Make OKRA STIR-FRY

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat the wok and pour 4 tablespoons of oil, saute the fennel, sliced garlic, onions, red chili and curry leaves until fragrant with lower heat.
  2. Add the sliced okras and give them a couple of stirs. Now, add half teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon of chili powder, 1 tablespoon of curry powder and stir well.

    (PS: OCCASIONALLY SPRINKLE SOME WATER WHILE STIRRING)
  3. Add a pinch of salt. Give the dish a final stir and its ready to be served with steaming hot white rice.
