I have been making this rice for over 35 years and I always receive compliments. I make it in the microwave unless I have another dish to put in the oven. Not much difference in taste. This side compliments beef dishes, but is also good with chicken.

Ingredients
- 1 cup long grain rice, uncooked ( i use uncle bens)
- 1 can campbell's french onion soup
- 1 can campbell's beef broth
- 1/2 -1 stick butter
How To Make mary's rice

Step 1Mix rice and both soups in a 2 quart casserole. If baking in the oven, add 1 stick of butter cut into pats. If baking in the microwave, use 1/2 stick of butter cut into pats.

Step 2Bake in the oven at 350, uncovered, for 40 minutes. If baking in the microwave, bake on high, covered, for 20 minutes. Stir before serving.
