Ingredients
- 2 1/2 pounds thinly sliced potatoes
- 2 cups thinly sliced onion
- CHEESE SAUCE
- 9 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 4 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar
- BREAD CRUMB TOPPING MIXTURE
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons granulated garlic
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 1 ounce melted butter
How To Make scalloped potatoes

Step 1Slice Potatoes and onion. Layer in pan.

Step 2Cheese Sauce: In sauces pot melt butter and add flour. Than add milk and cook til thicken. Than add cheese and cook till cheese is melted. Pour over potatoes and onion.

Step 3Bread Crumb Topping: Mix together bread crumbs, granulated garlic, onion powder and melted butter. Top potato,onion, and cheese sauce, Cover with tin foil and bake a 400 degrees for about 1 hour. Remove tin foil and cook an another 10 minutes till golden brown. Let set for 10 minutes and serve.
