Ingredients

3-4 medium
potatoes,peeled and sliced very thin
1 medium
onion,peeled and sliced thin
1/4 c
melted butter
kosher salt and fresh pepper to taste
1 c
half and half
1/2 c
blue cheese

Step-By-Step

1IN A 8 OR 9 INCH SQUARE BAKING DISH, COMBINE POTATOES, ONION, BUTTER, SALT AND PEPPER. TOSS. SPREAD TO MAKE AN EVEN LAYER. POUR HALF AND HALF OVER POTATOES, BAKE AT 375 DEGREES FOR 30 MINUTES.
2REMOVE FROM OVEN AND SPRINKLE WITH BLUE CHEESE. RETURN TO OVEN, UNCOVERED AND BAKE 10 TO 15 MINUTES. RUN UNDER THE BROILER IF YOU WANT TOP TO BROWN.
