Ingredients

  • 1 can 20 oz
    sweet potatoes, drained and mashed
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 c
    melted margarine
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • TOPPING

  • 3/4 stick
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 c
    crushed cornflakes
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pecans

How to Make Saras Sweet Potato Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine first seven ingredients and pour into a baking dish
  2. Bake till firm, 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees
  3. Melt butter and sugar for topping, then add corn flakes and pecans
