Ingredients
- 1 pint cold boiled potatoes, diced
- 2 tablespoons butter, divided
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup fine dry bread crumbs
How To Make potatoes au gratin

Step 1Put 1 TBS butter and flour in saucepan with a little salt and pepper. Cook till well mixed, then add milk and stir until smooth and thick.

Step 2Add potatoes and simmer 5 minutes, then pour into a buttered shallow baking dish. Melt the remaining butter and pour into bread crumbs, combine and pour over potatoes.

Step 3Put into a hot oven until the crumbs are golden brown, then serve hot.
