Ingredients

  • 8 small new potatoes
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 2 tablespoons zesty italian dressing
  • 1/2 cup sharp cheddar

How To Make potato smashers

  • Step 1
    Cook potatoes in microwave uncovered with 1/2 cup of water on high 10 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Cook back until crisp; drain.
  • Step 2
    Drain potatoes. Press each potato with bottom of small bowl bottom to 1/2" thickeness.
  • Step 3
    Heat dressing, add potatoes for 4-5 minutes, or until golden on bottom. Crumble bacon and sprinkle bacon and cheese on top. Cover with like and cook 2 additional minutes.over
