Ingredients
- 5 large potatoes
- 2 cans chicken broth
- 1 pound smoked sausage
- 1 large onion
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon parsley
How To Make maryhelen & cynthia's potato soup

Step 1Peel and cut up potatoes, add enough water to cover in stew pan, Bring to boil, peel and chop a large onion, add to potatoes, add broth and milk. Peel sausage and cut in bite size pieces, add to pan with salt and pepper, I usually let it simmer an hour or more, I like the soup thick.
