Ingredients

  • 5 large potatoes
  • 2 cans chicken broth
  • 1 pound smoked sausage
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley

How To Make maryhelen & cynthia's potato soup

  • Step 1
    Peel and cut up potatoes, add enough water to cover in stew pan, Bring to boil, peel and chop a large onion, add to potatoes, add broth and milk. Peel sausage and cut in bite size pieces, add to pan with salt and pepper, I usually let it simmer an hour or more, I like the soup thick.
