  • 2 can(s)
    chicken broth
  • 1 lb
    smoked sausage
  • 1 large
  • 1 can(s)
    evaporated milk
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • 4 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp

How to Make Maryhelen & Cynthia's Potato Soup


  1. Peel and cut up potatoes, add enough water to cover in stew pan, Bring to boil, peel and chop a large onion, add to potatoes, add broth and milk. Peel sausage and cut in bite size pieces, add to pan with salt and pepper, I usually let it simmer an hour or more, I like the soup thick.
