Ingredients

  • 4 - good size russet potatoes
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups milk, whole
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 tablespoon powdered garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • - parmesan cheese

How To Make maime's chicken fried garlic crunchy fries

  • Step 1
In a medium size bowl add milk, eggs, 1/2 tbs garlic powder and a good covering of salt and pepper..about 1/2 tsp each. Use a whisk and mix well. Set aside.
  • Step 2
In another medium size bowl add flour, and rest of seasonings, you can add more to taste.
  • Step 3
Cut potatoes length wise into french fries. I cut out the eyes and leave the skin, yummy..dip a hand full of cut fries into egg mixture, let drip off a little and drudge in flour mixture until well coated. ( if your feeling extra sporty, you can double dip! Just dip back into egg mixture then into flour again, you may need to add extra flour and a little more egg mixture tho) Fry in your favorite cast iron skillet or deep fryer at 350 in vegetable or canola oil until golden brown.. Drain on paper towels on a platter..while still hot sprinkle more seasonings and a nice sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if desired..break out the ranch dressing and indulge!!
