Ingredients

  • 3 pounds russet potatoes
  • 1 1/2 cups half and half
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

How To Make garlic mashed potatoes

  • Step 1
    Peel potatoes and cut them into chunks. Place in a large pot and cover with water.
  • Step 2
    Bring the water to a boil and cook until the potatoes are fork tender, about 20-25 minutes. Drain.
  • Step 3
    Mash the potatoes well.
  • Step 4
    Combine half and half, garlic and cheese. Pour into the potatoes. Stir to mix. Or you can use a mixer.
