Creamy Horseradish Mashed Potatoes

I make this creamy horseradish sauce that goes great on prime rib, roast and sandwiches. One day I thought I bet that would be good in mashed potatoes and its great. The horseradish enhances the potatoes and changes up the taste just a bit. It is really good. Try it.

  • 6 large
    yukon gold potatoes
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 1/2 c
    whipped cream cheese
  • 1 Tbsp
    prepared horseradish
  • 1/2 stick
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Creamy Horseradish Mashed Potatoes


  1. Peel and cook potatoes in salted boiling water until tender.
  2. Mix together sour cream, cream cheese and horseradish.
  3. Press potatoes through a food ricer and then add horseradish mixture with butter use just enough sauce to make potatoes smooth. Salt and Pepper to taste
