creamy horseradish mashed potatoes

I make this creamy horseradish sauce that goes great on prime rib, roast and sandwiches. One day I thought I bet that would be good in mashed potatoes and its great. The horseradish enhances the potatoes and changes up the taste just a bit. It is really good. Try it.

Ingredients

  • 6 large yukon gold potatoes
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make creamy horseradish mashed potatoes

  • Step 1
    Peel and cook potatoes in salted boiling water until tender.
  • Step 2
    Mix together sour cream, cream cheese and horseradish.
  • Step 3
    Press potatoes through a food ricer and then add horseradish mixture with butter use just enough sauce to make potatoes smooth. Salt and Pepper to taste
