A great different way to make mashed potatoes. So creamy and cheesy.

  • 6 large
    potatoes peeled, cooked and drain
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese softened
  • 2 c
    shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c
    creme fraiche or sour cream
  • 1 bunch
    green onions minced
  • 1 large
    egg beaten
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced optional

How to Make Creamy Baked Cheddar Mashed Potatoes


  1. Mash the potatoes and stir in all ingredients until incorporated well.
  2. Transfer to greased 2 qt. baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
