My Mom typically made these to go with her meatloaf and I have carried on the tradition.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 cup milk
  • 15 ounces can sliced new potatoes, drained

How To Make creamed new potatoes

  • Step 1
    Melt butter in a medium sauce pan over medium high heat. Stir in dry ingredients until a light roux forms. Stir in milk. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Add potatoes and gently fold until well coated. Turn heat to low and heat through.
