This casserole is a unique potato side dish that would be a welcomed addition to your Thanksgiving table.

2 cups hot mashed potatoes(don't add any milk or butter)
1 cup creamed cottage cheese
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon chives, chopped
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make Country Cottage Potato Bake


  • 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine potatoes, cottage cheese, butter, chives and salt. Mix thoroughly.
  • 2Spoon into one quart casserole dish. Heat uncovered for about 20 minutes.
  • 3Five minutes before end of baking, sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
