cheesy potato cassarole
These are easy and my family loves them. Things don't have to be hard to make to taste good.

Ingredients
- 6 - potatoes (peeled)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 - 8 oz carton sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper or to taste
- - cooked and chopped bacon (optional)
How To Make cheesy potato cassarole

Step 1Cook potatoes and mash with a fork. Combine cheese, butter and milk in a saucepan and cook over low heat until butter and cheese melts.

Step 2Remove from heat and stir in sour cream, onions, salt, pepper and cooked bacon (if you are using it). Fold in potatoes.

Step 3Put mixture in a 2 quart casserole and dot with butter. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
