This recipe was in a book that I bought for my daughter when she was about 8. It was call, "My First Cooking Book". I have made a few alterations but not much. My family have love these potatoes for 50 years.

Ingredients

8 medium
potatoes
1/2 - 3/4 stick
butter, melted
1 tsp
seasoning salt

How to Make Buttery Baked Potato Wedges

Step-by-Step

  • 1Heat oven to 450º Put butter in a 10" square container. (I use corning ware because I have it) While you prepare potatoes melt butter while oven heats.
  • 2Wash well and dry the potatoes. Leave skin on and slice in wedges length ways.
  • 3Put potatoes in prepared pan. Stir the potatoes in the butter to coat. Sprinkle season salt on them. I use (Lawry's Season Salt) but you can use your favorite.
  • 4Bake for 30 minutes or till lightly brown of outside and soft in middle.
