This is a simple recipe that my family loves. They like to top it with BK seasoning which is a seasoned salt.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    macaroni, elbow
  • 16 oz
    velvetta cheese
  • 1 c
    milk or half and half
  • 1/4 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, softened

How to Make Velvetta Macaroni and Cheese

Step-by-Step

  1. I do this all in a non stick pot. I cook the Macaroni as directed on the package then I drain it and put back in pot. While it is still hot I cut up the Velvetta in pieces and stir into hot Macaroni and let melt. Then add the butter.
  2. Then I salt, pepper and add dry mustard. Once the cheese is melted I add the milk and stir it up. Simmer on low heat.
  3. We like to sprinkle with BK seasoning, or a seasoned salt.
