  • 12 oz
    vermicelli or fine noodles, cooked and drained and broken in half
  • 1 pkg
    (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 c
    butter, melted
  • 4
    eggs, beaten
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 c
    golden raisins (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon

How to Make Pasta Kugel

Step-by-Step

  1. Cream cheese and butter, mixing until well blended.
  2. Blend in eggs, sour cream, sugar, vanilla and salt.
  3. Add cooked pasta and raisins. Mix well.
  4. Pour mixture into a 2 1/2 quart baking dish.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
