Ingredients

  • 12 ounces vermicelli or fine noodles, cooked and drained and broken in half
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 4 - eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

How To Make pasta kugel

  • Step 1
    Cream cheese and butter, mixing until well blended.
  • Step 2
    Blend in eggs, sour cream, sugar, vanilla and salt.
  • Step 3
    Add cooked pasta and raisins. Mix well.
  • Step 4
    Pour mixture into a 2 1/2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • Step 5
    Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
