I love anything homemade with fresh ingredients. I made this for my family huge hit especially with my dad and kids!

Ingredients For homemade mac and cheese

  • 8 oz box
    elbow noodles
  • 2 c
    shredded cheddar/sharp cheese
  • 1/2 c
    parmesan cheese fresh grated
  • 1/4 c
    real butter
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    paprika
  • 1
    sleeve ritz crackers smashed into crumbs for topping
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make homemade mac and cheese

    Cook elbow noodles to eldentae usually 7/8 minutes. Drain and cool
  • 2
    Melt butter and flour making a roux. Add milk slowly stir in cheeses until melted add paprika salt and pepper.

    Stir in together pour in 8x8 or 8x9 pan add ritz crackers to top cook at 350 for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
