I love anything homemade with fresh ingredients. I made this for my family huge hit especially with my dad and kids!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz boxes elbow noodles
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar/sharp cheese
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese fresh grated
  • 1/4 cup real butter
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 - sleeve ritz crackers smashed into crumbs for topping
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make homemade mac and cheese

  • Step 1
    Cook elbow noodles to eldentae usually 7/8 minutes. Drain and cool
  • Step 2
    Melt butter and flour making a roux. Add milk slowly stir in cheeses until melted add paprika salt and pepper.
  • Step 3
    Stir in together pour in 8x8 or 8x9 pan add ritz crackers to top cook at 350 for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
