Ingredients

  • 1 - egg, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons water or milk
  • 1 cup sifted all purpose flour

How To Make fried homemade noodles

  • Step 1
    Combine egg, salt water and flour to make a stiff dough. Roll out thinly on a floured surface. Cut into 1/4 inch strips. Drop strips into salted boiling water and cook, uncovered for 10 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Drain and rinse noodles with cold water.
  • Step 3
    Melt any combination of bacon drippings, butter and shortening to cover bottom of a skillet and fry noodles to desired brownness.
