I am a mother of 3 and married to a farmer...we use products off our farm to cook with. I have been collecting old time recipes for years - trying to teach my kids how it was in the "olden days." 1In a 9x13 glass dish, lay sliced butter. I put my pan in the oven to melt the butter. Once melted, Layer in order above. Be sure when pouring in milk to pour on the side so you don't push the cheese to the edges.
2Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hr. Remove, give it a good mix and continue to bake uncovered until thick or the consistency you like.
