How to Make ~ Ez Mac & Cheese ~

  1. First, prepare your macaroni according to package.

In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour salt & pepper and cook for about 1 minute. Slowly whisk in the milk. Continue to cook until bubbly and thickening.
Stir in the cheese and cook until melted. Stir in a pinch of nutmeg or however much desired.

Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce, stir to coat.

I then place in a medium sized oven proof casserole and sprinkle a handful of cheddar cheese. Broil until golden and bubbly.

    Serve immediately.

Note: you can skip the broiling at the end. It's ready to serve after mixing with cheese sauce.
