Easy to put together for a pot-luck - serve warm as a side dish, or chilled with extra chopped veggies as a salad.

Ingredients

1 lb
pasta of choice, cooked and drained
1 large
onion, rough chopped
1 lb
smoked sausage, sliced
3 c
bbq sauce (more to taste)
2 Tbsp
vegetable oil

Step-By-Step

1Saute chopped onion and smoked sausage in vegetable until onion is softened and just beginning to brown. This is also good with chopped bell peppers, in addition or substituted for the onions.
2Deglaze pan with barbeque sauce (add the sauce, stir over low heat to get the browned bits off the bottom of the pan).
3Toss the pasta to coat, and serve warm, or chill to use as a pasta salad.
