- 1 pound pasta of choice, cooked and drained
- 1 large onion, rough chopped
- 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
- 3 cups bbq sauce (more to taste)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
How To Make barbeque pasta
-
Step 1Saute chopped onion and smoked sausage in vegetable until onion is softened and just beginning to brown. This is also good with chopped bell peppers, in addition or substituted for the onions.
-
Step 2Deglaze pan with barbeque sauce (add the sauce, stir over low heat to get the browned bits off the bottom of the pan).
-
Step 3Toss the pasta to coat, and serve warm, or chill to use as a pasta salad.
