This recipe was given to me by a chef who served it as a side dish. I've served it many times and have given the recipe at the same time.

    8 brussel sprouts,cut in half
  • c
    1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • c
    1/4 cup brown sugar (firmly packed)
  • tsp
    1 tsp garlic powder
  • c
    1/4 hot water

How to Make Tasty Sweet/Sour Brussel Sprouts


  1. After cutting Brussel Sprouts in half, combine all ingredients listed and marinate for 1/2 hour in an oven proof dish.
  2. Preheat oven at 350º add the dish with the Burussel Sprouts and bake for 1/2 hour. Remove and serve hot.
  3. This side dish has always been a favorite of my family and friends.
