Ingredients

  • 3 c
    matzo farfel
  • 3
    eggs, well beaten
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 c
    melted butter
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 4
    large apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 c
    raisins

How to Make Passover Apple Matzo Kugel

Step-by-Step

  1. Moisten farfel in a colander under water until just soft.
    Drain excess water; set aside.
  2. Add sugar, cinnamon, and salt to beaten eggs.
    Add melted butter and continue beating until well blended.
    Stir in farfel, walnuts, apples and raisins.
  3. Place mixture in a well greased 2 quart casserole.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
