    loaf of bread, diced and set out the night before
  • 1 c
    finely chopped celery
  • 1/2 c
    onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    butter, melted
  • 1 tsp
    poultry seasoning
  • 8 c
    dried bread crumbs
  • 1 c
    chicken broth
  • 1/2 c

How to Make Old Fashioned Stuffing


  1. The night before, dice up a loaf of bread and let it sit out.
  2. Dice Celery and Onion. In a skillet, cook celery, onion, and butter until tender. Stir in poultry seasoning and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. In a 2 qt. casserole dish, add bread and pour onion and celery mixture over it. Dribble with broth and water to moisten. Stir. Cook at 325 degrees for 45 min.
