easy bread stuffing using stove top

For Thanksgiving, I make my homemade,from scratch Stuffing, but during the year I want to have stuffing with some meals but, I don't want to go to the work of "made from scratch" Stuffing. So, I came up with this recipe. Easy and very good.

Ingredients

  • 1 box stove top stuffing mix ( i use the chicken flavored)
  • 3 - celery ribs, chopped
  • 1 - small onion, chopped
  • - poultry seasoning, to taste

How To Make easy bread stuffing using stove top

  • Step 1
    Make the Stove Top Stuffing according to box directions. Add chopped celery, onion and poultry seasoning. Mix well.
  • Step 2
    At this point, you may add: cooked sage sausage and mushrooms, if you want.
  • Step 3
    Place into an oven proof dish, cover and bake for 45 minutes. If you like a crusty top, remove the cover at the end of the 45 minutes and bake until the top gets as brown as you want.
