This is a recipe I made with my mother every year at Easter time. need to make 24-48 hours before your dinner.

Ingredients

  • 12 - eggs
  • pinch - salt
  • 1Quart - milk
  • 1 tspn - vanilla extract
  • 1 or more - cheese cloth
  • - thread or something to tie cheese cloth

How To Make easter cheese

  • Step 1
    pour all Ingredients in a Double Pan stir,Boil until mixture gets watery like cheese.Drain into cheese cloth tie & hang for 24 hours with bowl underneath
  • Step 2
    untie brush top with Egg Yolk Bake @ 350 until Brown on top.
  • Step 3
    we always made 2 so process,timing etc. may vary depending on how many is needed
