You can use 3 cups of coleslaw mix instead of the cabbage and carrot if you prefer.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups finely shredded white cabbage
  • 1 medium carrot, peeled and shredded
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or splenda
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk

How To Make coleslaw my way

  • Step 1
    In a blender, mix mayonnaise, buttermilk, vinegar, sugar, salt celery seed and onion.
  • Step 2
    Placw cabbage and carrot in large bowl. Toss to mix.
  • Step 3
    Pour dressing over the cabbage mixture. Stir to coat well.
  • Step 4
    Cover and refrigerate overnight to allow flavours to blend.
