1head of cabbage, finely chopped
1/3 cgranulated sugar
2 Tbspwhite vinegar
2 Tbsplemon juice
How to Make Cole Slaw
- Finely chop the cabbage (I use a food processor for this)
- In a large bowl, combine the sugar, salt, pepper, milk, mayonnaise, vinegar and lemon juice. Mix well. Stir in the cabbage. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Since this has mayonnaise in it, if you plan on having it for a picnic you will need to keep it cold. If it is going to be sitting our for awhile, take a large bowl and put ice in the bottom of it and then sit a smaller bowl (with your coleslaw in it) inside of the larger bowl.
